Fat Quarter Projects – Reversible Mini Tote Bag

I enjoy sewing but am definitely a beginner; so fat quarter projects are a simple, fun way to get used to my sewing machine; and get creative!

The Big Stitch – Summer Spots Upcycled Shorts

Over the last month I had seen the adverts for the British Heart Foundation competition The Big Stitch (#TheBigStitch) and decided I wasn’t going to join in, simply because I had done some upcycling recently, as you can read here, and I have plenty of other sewing projects sitting in a pile waiting to be done…

#CraftBlogClub Upcycled Challenge 2018

The #CraftBlogClub upcycled challenge was launched at the end of March. This challenge is always good fun! Last time we had the challenge; in 2016; I was really pleased with my project; which of course I talked about in this post.

A Day Out To – Craft 4 Crafters 2017

On February 18th I ventured out of the craft room and had a fabulous day out at the Craft 4 Crafters show at the Westpoint in Exeter!

Yes… Smash-booked already!

Though I didn’t need anything, fully intending to uphold my decision to work on all of my unfinished projects this year, and not start anything new unless completely necessary (for example cards and gifts). I wanted to go, because these shows are so inspiring!
