Happy Wednesday! Yesterday it was Stu’s birthday, and so, I have of course done some crafting this week!Continue reading “On The Desk – Birthday in the House”
I planned this a little while ago… Well, when I say I planned this project, I knew I wanted to make a Christmas cushion. It was choosing the design that took a little more time!
Way back when I planned the Halloween Cat Cushion, I also planned this project! (How’s that for organised?!) So when I picked up the plain black cotton cushion cover in Ikea, I also picked up a red one!Continue reading “12 Days Of Christmas 2019 – Movie Inspired Christmas Cushion”
It’s almost time! Are you panic buying? Calm? Enjoying all the festivities?
We’re fairly calm now, all the presents for posting have been sent on their way, and I can finally relax with just the last few bits to do in the next couple of days, for here at home.
With that it mind, we decided to have a little fun!Continue reading “12 Days of Christmas 2019 – 9 – Christmas Fun: Chocolate Decorating”
It is rare for me to do Halloween crafting, at least in any great amount. As much as I love Autumn; I just don’t see much that takes my fancy, though perhaps next year, it will make a change? I say this after I made this fun Halloween black cat cushion cover!
So while I will probably never do a FULL blogtober; as October isn’t really a time I’ve felt much need to blog a great deal about; I hope you enjoy this small crafty project!Continue reading “Halloween Crafting – Black Cat Cushion”
Painted garden furniture was something I had in mind for the garden; which I never thought I’d actually do! Something that always seemed a little too adventurous, and probably too difficult to do. But in the spirit of doing up the garden, and making it a much more fun space to hang out in; here we are!
This post contains a gifted product or products*, the content of this post is entirely my opinion.
As I say, painting the plastic furniture, seemed a little too much of a pipe dream; until I was chatting recently with the lovely people at Pinty Plus about a collaboration!Continue reading “Painted Garden Furniture * Project Garden”
I absolutely LOVE lemon drizzle cake, it’s super easy to make, and is a lovely treat!
I while ago I mentioned making this on social media; and more than one person asked me to share the recipe, so here it is!Continue reading “Recipe Book – Lemon Drizzle Cake”
March! It’s been a fairly quiet month again this month, mostly because we’ve been really busy with work, though we have had a little down-time here and there, so here’s a bit of a catch up!
We’ve not had any events in March, which means it’s been fairly quiet generally, we did enjoy a day out in St Ives (which you can read all about here)! That’s about the extent of our going out this month, the joy of how days off have come up recently, coupled with some rather hit-or-miss weather!Continue reading “*Date Night* March 2019”
We had a bit of fun this past weekend, something neither of us has done before, and make some Cornish Pasties but we thought we’d have a bit of fun and blog about it!
It’s St Pirans Day today! A day to celebrate all things Cornwall, and though I’m not Cornish, and many would say Stu isn’t either (you have to be born here apparently!) we thought we’d have a go at making proper cornish pasties!Continue reading “Recipe Book: St Pirans Day – Cornish Pasties”
For Valentines day yesterday, Stu and I didn’t really have much planned. Neither of us really buy into the day; though we use it as an excuse to give each other a little present. And some chocolate (because any time is a good time for chocolate!). This year I decided I was going to make Stu something I’d promised a while ago; a shadow box frame gift!
I was very kindly gifted a product within this post from Hobbycraft, the gifted item has been clearly marked with an *Continue reading “Shadow Box Frame Gift *”
I had a bit of a tidy up and sort out in the craft room recently; and it got me thinking about how individual a space it is! wondering how I would go about doing a room tour post, and I decided to do an A-Z. Which might give you a little more insight into me, if you’re new to the blog, or just feeling nosy! So here we go an A-Z of the craft room!Continue reading “An A-Z of the Craft Room”
