Something I really wanted to do this year; was make some His and Hers Valentines mugs using my Cricut, and some vinyl. This was quite easy to achieve, and I already had the perfect font on my laptop.
I’ve said before that we don’t really take Valentine’s Day very seriously as a couple; earlier this week; Stu picked me up a new toothbrush and joked he was tempted to give it to me on Sunday… But as it’s so cold at the moment I came up with the perfect gift; (which clearly is going to be seen a bit early!).

I was having a think this week about Happy Mail; and given the time of year, and the current situation here in the UK; it made me think of what Valentines gifts (or “galentines” etc etc) you could send in the post.
So I thought I’d do a little post sharing some ideas, great if you wanted to step away from the simple flowers and chocolates, or even if you were just looking for ideas to send something nice to a special friend!
And as a bonus I’m also sharing a super cute and easy craft idea anyone can do, for almost any occasion!

When coming up with Valentines craft ideas, I wanted to take the opportunity to try some new things; and do something a little different. With that in mind; I thought I’d try my hand at decorating these cute wooden hanging hearts; which you can find in most craft supply shops.
In this post I’m going to share four hanging hearts, decorated three different ways.
There’s also a tiny cross-stitch update right at the bottom of the post too!

I wanted to do something a little different this month, and share some fab indie biz. It’s fairly officially Christmas shopping season, and it’s a great opportunity to support small business; shop indie; and spread a little love to those that may be struggling; as there are no craft fairs or the like this year!
So here are a range of some of the handmade products from some of my friends online! If you have a small business, get in touch and I’ll happily add you to the list! Please don’t link spam; if you have a gift guide similar to this one, do tell everyone about it in the comments below!

Hello November! A new month, new plans and new goals, and now a new lockdown. First though I thought I’d do a bit of an October round up! This has been a bit of a whirlwind of a month hasn’t it?!
There was quite a lot going on in October, and as I was sharing a lot of Blogtober content, some things didn’t quite fit anywhere; so, I thought I’d share a few things in this post.

Who’s been carving pumpkins? We have actually decided not to do a pumpkin carving this year, mostly because I usually do it so people know they can trick or treat at our house, as locally, people only visit decorated houses.
There is still some fun though we have got some decorations for the window for anyone pumpkin spotting in the area!
I thought I’d share some of my past creations, and a fun hanging pumpkin sign I made for the window!

This year, more than in the past I’ve gotten more into Halloween, and Halloween decor. Not that Halloween is something I don’t enjoy, but spending more time indoors; means wanting to make the most of the fun! So unlike any before; I’ve found myself getting more into bringing a little Spooky Season into the house.
Here are some fun, creative decorating ideas, you could try if you’d like to do the same!

How to Brighten Up Your Garden When You Rent (Part 4)
The final project I am sharing this month; something I had in mind for the garden for a long time. Which I really never actually thought I’d actually do; but we did it last summer! Upcycling the furniture!
Plagued by windy and wet weather at the time; it made this project a little harder than it could have been; but getting Stu in to help, we got there eventually!
