12 Days of Christmas 2017 – Gift Wrapped Hamper

In this post I’ll share some ideas for creating a wrapped hamper with treats or small gifts. I have a great love of wrapping my presents with a particular colour scheme every year, and it’s not uncommon for me to send “mini hampers” filled with goodies to family for Christmas.

I thought I’d share some photos of a wrapped hamper I have sent, to show that there are different ways to wrap and send gifts, at Christmas, or any other time of year!

So, as I said I like to send hampers, but I also like to make things a little bit interesting! So I sometimes wrap what’s inside! Here you can see one of my wrapped hampers. I think it looks super cute in a basket…

It’s fun to wrap up a hamper; to me it adds more of an element of surprise. This is also a nice way to send things if you are mailing them. I ship a lot of presents across the country; by courier; so sometimes it adds an extra layer of protection too!

Creating towers of gifts wrapped together with ribbon, is another fun way to make smaller gifts stand out, and of course, it’s even more fun when you can mix up the wrapping!

If you’re wondering what’s inside my wrapped hamper gifts, it varies, from treats, to small presents, anything goes really! I tend to buy a lot of local goodies in Cornwall to send further afield, though there are many different hamper ideas, such as pampering gifts; items related to a hobby or interest, even a book lover’s hamper, with some books, snacks and maybe a nice mug? Can you think of more ideas?

Check out my Cornwall themed hamper in this post.

Do you have any themes or regular styles when you wrap gifts?
