This time of year especially, it is nice to send a little note of thanks to certain people. I thought I’d share some fun creative Thank You card ideas in this post. Of course I make all of my cards, but even if this is not the usual, it can be a nice personal touch to thank somebody for a gift.
Thank you card ideas
For some ideas and inspiration, here are some cards I have made both past and present: Sometimes there doesn’t have to be a grand gesture and you simply want to send a little note, this 3x3in card went in a bunch of flowers for a personal touch.
When it comes to making cards, I definitely have a thing about layering elements, as these two cards show!
I love the addition of buttons and sequins, just because they’re fun! I always seem to collect little stickers like these dragonflies, leaves and ladybirds!
Layering plain or patterned paper with some ribbon, you get a simple; fun card, that is not complicated to make! My craft stash is pretty monumental, and I am working my way through the paper and sticker sheets, as I want to use more stamped embellishments – they are reusable and mean that all parts can be recycled unlike some sticker elements on cards otherwise.
Cross-Stitch Thank Yous
I have of course made cross-stitch cards in the past, and I have done thank you’s in the past too!
Another option; would be to look into die-cutting, for crafty ideas that could finish up scraps of paper! Punches can be great too, for using odd leftover pieces. These are thank you card ideas for the future perhaps!

This cute “Little Meow” stamp set from Papermania, works together as a card in itself, or I can use pieces separately for other things, or use different sentiment stamps in the frame. I like stamping cards, as you can make them look as formal or informal as you like, this one is far more fun than some cards I make!
