Santoro Gorjuss The Scarf Cross-Stitch (Project)

I thought I would start with a project I have worked on before; Santoro Gorjuss The Scarf cross-stitch; but just struggled to make time to work on! Here’s hoping this new year, I have refreshed motivation!

On the desk...

This week I’ve decided to dig out a cross-stitch kit! I used to do tons of stitching, and then I got out of the habit, and it’s something I’d like to get back to again. I find it really relaxing and I’ve actually been stitching since I was 7. I’d like to complete at least one kit this year, as I have many waiting for me to even start!

So here’s what I’ve been working on this week…

Santoro Gorjuss The Scarf

This kit, from Bothy Threads; I actually started once, and it got abandoned; because I just cannot seem to focus on it. The patterned aida is stunning; and I really thought it would inspire me more, as I’m not working on plain white fabric!

How do you feel about patterned aida for cross-stitch projects?

As you can see I have stitched a little of the green; I say the green; this is a very green dominated project. This is a bit much on a green background… She is super cute though, so hopefully the details will make this project fun!

Check out some other cross-stitch in this post.

Gorjuss

I’m a fan of Gorjuss by Santoro anyway, and have a few things around the house, including a clock and this adorable ornament, I also have crafty bits and pieces too!

I’m really hoping to stay motivated this time, and get this finished, and it can go with my other Gorjuss cross-stitch! Ruby, which I also worked on a couple of years ago!
