I thought I’d use this quite far from productive week to share a project in my “to finish” pile, I started knitting this jumper far too long ago, and I would love to have it finished by the end of the year, I’d honestly settle for this time next year!

I currently have one side finished and am part way through the other, and then have the arms to do, which at this point I’m hoping I have enough yarn for!
The look I’m hoping for is a basic comfy jumper, this began as an experiment to see if I could manage to make an item of clothing without a pattern, which on paper, should work out fine, if I ever manage to actually finish knitting it!

The yarn I’m using is basic grey DK and some “stonewash pink” (more lilac) coloured yarn. I balled the two yarns together, which has turned out quite pretty, and using 8mm needles, in stockinette stitch (or stocking stitch), it has created quite a nice looking and feeling chunky knit. It’s so soft too.

Have you got any projects that have been abandoned? Have you ever revisited a long forgotten project? Let me know in the comments!
