Feeling all the summer vibes today as we check out this super cute cross-stitch surf teddy for throwback Thursday.
It’s a surfing teddy! A little childish, but honestly it’s super cute and fun, I love the bright colours and simplicity of the design! This guy is still on display at our friends house!
Cross-Stitch Surf Teddy
This cross-stitch surf teddy is a project I made for a friend, a surfing enthusiast, who lives by the sea! I knew I had to stitch this for him the moment I saw it.
It was a fun gift, found when I was flicking through book I had on my shelf in the craft room!
Isn’t he fun? I love the bright colours, and simplicity of the design. It was really fun to stitch too; perfect to work on while chilling in front of the TV, in the evening.

The book in question; full of different designs of these, I’ve had for years, so you may need to search for it. It has designs of so many themes; not just sport, and is called Cross Stitch Teddies by Sue Whiting.
I love it, I really need to finish up some of my cross-stitch projects so I can do more of them! I have a couple bookmarked because as I said, they make great gifts!
As I took this from an old post, I’m adding in a second one I made for a Wimbledon enthusiast! Isn’t it just so cute!
I’d still like to make some more of these! If there are any of these you’d like to see, (or can think of a theme I might have); please come and chat on Twitter! I think these both took a couple of evenings each, they’re quite quick to stitch up, and I really enjoyed working on them both!
