Here we are at the end of May, and how great has this month been!
So here’s a recap of what I’ve been up to, what I’ve been enjoying, watching, reading and so on.
But also, to keep looking ahead, some goals, and things that I’m looking forward to, and so, instead of looking back, however fun May has been, and looking forward to what’s going to be happening in June!
Just as a bit more me on the blog aside from the crafty stuff!
This Month – May 2017
I think the biggest thing we did this month was head to Disneyland Paris! We had such a great time – Now I just need to catch up on the scrapbook… Which lets face it will take ages, because I need to find the right papers and things first…
Otherwise we had another lot of mostly wet weather, or have been tied up doing things at home, so haven’t been out much at all! (We really need to do something about this!)
We watched late 90’s who’s who comedy show Freaks and Geeks on Netflix – seriously such a great cast, and the breakthrough for many actors! It was a really fun show too, we finished it way too quickly!
Film wise we’ve been watching a fair bit but nothing in particular, there was a lot of Disney post-holiday as we were still missing it!
Do you have a favourite Disney film?
We try to go to the cinema fairly regularly, so this month we saw a few things –
King Arthur Legend of the Sword
and of course
Pirates of the Caribbean – Salazar’s Revenge (or Dead Men Tell No Tales, for some readers)
Lately I’ve been listening to Biffy Clyro again, I have all of their albums on my phone, so there’s plenty to keep me occupied, and I cleared my phone of a lot to make room for photos when I went away!
Podcasts, the same really, I am planning on a podcast based chat on #CraftBlogClub on Twitter soon, so any crafty podcast suggestions are welcome in the comments!
I’ve been reading Mr Mercedes for what seems like forever, because I keep NOT reading it. It is brilliant so far though- I just need to read more!
Disney based clothes!
Clothes at Disney are more than pricey, so I did buy ahead, from places such as Primark and Sports Direct, because they are still official Disney tees and so much cheaper!
I also snapped up this skirt on eBay (brand new) and LOVE the colour! It’s a little bit different for me, I’m trying to get better with colours!
I’m looking forward to…
My friend visiting!
It’s been ages, and she’s coming to stay for the weekend! And in true hosting style I’ve been planning things to do including going to see local theatre group RAOST’s production of Priscilla Queen of the Desert! It’s going to be amazing (and if you’re local you can still buy tickets here!)
I’m hoping we’ll have another day out somewhere too, perhaps to one of the wildlife parks nearby so I’ll share wherever we end up!
June is also the start of what we like to call Car Show Season, here in Cornwall, which is always fun, and usually three or four good days out in both June and July, so I’ve got my fingers crossed for good weather!!
