This Week #17 – BBQ, Sunshine, Reading and LOVE

Well this has been a week and a bit hasn’t it! To begin: Happy June and Happy Pride Month. Huge love to anyone who needs it right now.

This Week

So, let us begin, with a mere statement. YOU can be WHOEVER you ARE. I will not judge you for that. I will judge you if you are intolerant of others. As far as I am concerned, if you don’t like something, you can be a grown up and self-censor. Walk away. Live and let live.

On with the week….

I Love this Weather!

We began the week, hearing that the sunny weather was going to vanish on us. It has been AMAZING, I hope it doesn’t stay away too long. But just in case, we had a BBQ in the garden!

It was such a lovely day, and as much as we’d rather be chilling with friends, at least we can spend time together and make the most of it!

Now we don’t actually own a BBQ, because of storage mainly, so got a disposable one.

It was so nice to chill for an afternoon in the garden, with a cider and some good food, especially since all the plants have been sorted and I made new bunting! The only thing missing was the friends round, but I’m sure it’ll happen before we know it!

Check out last years summer upcycling here.

Honestly it’s been quite a relaxed week! I finished a book! I can’t remember reading this fast in ages! It was so very good though!

Shoutout to all the people on Twitter who told me I’d love it! I really did, so much, and I’ve ordered Perfect (the second part) already! Absolutely incredible book.

Now the subject of this book series is largely about learning that you CAN learn from your mistakes, that to brand someone for a past mistake is not necessarily how things should be… and given the recent talk online about BLM and I am NOT going to keep on about it, nor will I remain silent! It goes all ways. I will continue to inform myself as should we all. Remember: This is SO, a WORLD issue, as much of a problem in the UK as overseas.
