It is finally time to share my Disneyland Paris Anniversary scrapbook! The Disneyland Paris 25th Anniversary celebrations; was our second Disney holiday back in 2017. Of course I always planned to create a scrapbook of the trip, but it took me over a year to actually get it done!
Now the book is finally finished; and of course I’m really pleased with it! So, of course; I took some photos of my layouts and thought I’d share it here on the blog!
If you’d like to see more of my travel scrapbooks, let me know. I have different books from a few different places, including Prague, our first Disney trip and Paris, and a few of different years of general scrapbooking, so leave me a comment if you enjoy this post and would like to see more!
The Disneyland Paris 25th Anniversary Scrapbook
Going to Disneyland paris for the 25th Anniversary celebrations was an amazing holiday, and now I’ve finished the scrapbook, I really wanted to share it, so I took photos of all of the finished page layouts.
This is an 8×8 post-bound scrapbook album.
Products I used
I used the Simple Stories Say Cheese III 12×12 Collection Kit. The kit came with stickers; different size cards for journaling or decoration, and 8 sheets of double-sided cardstock with various designs.
Other items I used included some Disney lettering stickers I picked up in Poundland a while ago; a handful of paper accents from a Disney kit I got at the same time; and Papermania Basics cardstock to both mat photos, and back a couple of pages. I also backed one page with some black and white polka-dot paper I had in my stash.
All other stickers, lettering etc came from the kit. This worked really well to make up a whole 8×8 book and is something I would do again!
Firstly I cut down the 12×12 sheets to 8×8. As the pages are double-sided; I chose where in the book I felt they would work best; as I was essentially stuck pairing pages on opposite sides of the page. I filled in with plain cardstock, using the trimmed edges of the 12×12 pages for accents, or to mat photos.
If you want to know any more just drop me a comment and I’ll do my best to help!
Here are the pages from my book!
What goes best on a front page than the first steps through the gate! It was actually quite cloudy that first day, but it didn’t bring us down!
Our first stop is always Frontierland! Home to Big Thunder Mountain and Phantom Manor!!
This was really good fun! We knew that the Lucky Nugget restaurant in Frontierland had a stage, but had never seen a shoe there. The restaurant was fairly quiet, but they showed a live Woody’s Roundup puppet show before some more live entertainment! No characters made an appearance but it was great fun!
Disneyland Paris Anniversary Shows
We saw as many shows as we could get to; including the Princess Waltz, and of course the big anniversary performance, featuring lots of big Disney characters.
Disney Magic on Parade
The parade was amazing! Considering we had visited two years before, we were delighted to find it was a whole new parade complete with new floats and the showstopper was the dragon, breathing real fire!
The parade wasn’t the only change from our last visit, with an all new illuminations and fireworks show! It was truly spectacular!
The Characters anniversary costumes were gorgeous!! We met a few, but tend to not bother with really long queues! And Sometimes it affords you a great photo op if you want to lurk nearby for the gap between meets! Donald spotted me, and struck a pose!!
I hope you enjoyed the a peek inside my scrapbook for Disneyland Paris. What better ending that this simple sentiment card included in the pack!
