Cross Stitch Progress (Love Tree Part 7)

It’s Friday, and that means (at the moment) cross stitch progress reports! I am still working away at my Love Tree kit; and loving that I can finally choose pretty colours to work in!

On the desk...

Last week I shared the first colour introduction to my work in progress; and I’m excited to have moved on with another colour this week!

Love Tree

I have of course been working on this project throughout the year; and while it hasn’t been especially swift progress, I do feel like it’s coming along nicely! The kit is called Love Tree, and is from Bothy Threads, based on artwork by Kim Anderson.

I first saw this kit many years ago, and loved it immediately; and it’s sat in my to-do pile for a couple of years, since I got it one Christmas. I decided this year was the perfect time to complete it!

Cross Stitch Progress

This week I chose this pretty blue to work in; and love the vibrant contrast to the existing colours I’ve already stitched!

There wasn’t much to do this week; which is rather fortuitous as I have been working hard on the #CrafticChallenge over on Instagram; and taking photos for that! But I’m really loving this pop of colour!

You can check out the previous Love Tree update in this post.

Here is a close up of some of the new stitching.

Just for fun, I thought I would create a poll over on Twitter; to see what colour you would like me to work on next! I will keep it open for a few days; so head over to Twitter and check out the post to vote!

Here are the thread colours to choose from: dark green; light green (used); dark blue (used); light blue; red; dark pink; light pink and yellow.

I hope you have been enjoying these work in progress updates! What are you working on at the moment? Do let me know in the comments, or of course sharing on socials is always appreciated!
