Hello April! It’s A-Z Challenge time again, and as I revealed previously; this month I am sharing a retrospective; or look back, on The Craft Room and Beyond! Beginning with A all the way to Z. Today I am starting with some of our Awesome Adventures!
I love sharing our travels and days out here on the blog; whether it’s a holiday abroad, a weekend away or a day trip closer to home. We are lucky to live in the beautiful county of Cornwall, and there is so much to see and do; right on our doorstep!
The Craft Room and Beyond – A Retrospective
Why did I choose this for my theme? When I created this blog, only a little over a year ago; one of my main goals was to rebrand my content. I had gone from craft blogger more towards crafts and days out; and every now and again I wanted to share other things too. The Craft Room and Beyond simply seemed way more accurate a description!
For my A-Z this month, I will be sharing a few posts every day from the archive! With a little look back and also some related creative content. What better way to begin, than to share a couple of our favourite places to visit!
We are National Trust pass holders, and often visit sites, both here in Cornwall, and when we’re away. One of our most visited sites is Trelissick; a beautiful garden and historic house. Which isn’t too far from where we live! Great for a wander to blow away the cobwebs; whether in calm winters, or bright and colourful summers.
Another fairly frequently visited National Trust site is Trerice; with it’s pretty house, and gardens it’s great for a wander, even if it’s raining; as there is lots to see, both inside and out! The house is larger than that at Trelissick, but not as large as others. It has a wonderful history; and a unique style compared to other properties we’ve visited.
There will be a wealth of links throughout this month; and of course it’s worth hitting the search bar on the right (on desktop; it’s below on mobile) to look for anything else that may pique your interest!
