I make all of my cards; and used to share them on here quite regularly. I haven’t all year; so I thought I’d write a post sharing some of the cards I’ve made for family and friends in the last six months!
I’m thinking of having a break from sharing all year; but possibly also doing some individual card posts over on Instagram or something. If you have any preferences, or want to see more; do let me know in the comments.

I really liked playing around with my butterfly punch to make this card! It was so pretty and fun! Though it did end up quite heavy, so note to myself for next time would be to work with a thicker base card. And a thicker piece of card for backing the butterflies on to, because the glue added quite a lot of weight! Overall though I’m quite pleased with how it turned out!
This card I made using a paper pack which I picked up in The Works; I love that when you buy a block you get so many coordinating colour pieces to play around with; and it looks really fun!
A rare coloured card; and again though I’m not great at hand-lettering I did my best to write in some of the sentiment. Purely because I didn’t have anything that would work alongside the pieces I wanted to use!
I’m a big fan of Gorjuss by Santoro; and so is my Mum! So it seemed only right to use one of my Gorjuss stamps; to make her a music themed birthday card.
I chose a vibrant black and red colour scheme; and found some coordinating washi tape in my stash that worked really well to bring it all together!
When it came to making Stu a birthday card this year; I’d seen something similar to this, and wanted to try it out. I cut out the basic guitar shape, along with the pieces of black and wood-look cardstock; using pearl beads and metallic threads for the strings!
I was SO pleased with how it turned out!
When one of my colleagues at work had a new addition to her family; I leapt at the chance to use some of my cute New Baby themed craft stacks!
I’ve had this SO long I can’t remember the name of it; but the papers and stickers came together; and I simply added the edged cardstock and lettering to make a fun card for her!
I get to have a bit of fun when I’m making cards for Stu; and I tend to do something a bit different, which lately means drawing something!
This was based on the Pixar short, which is super cute!
It was fun to make something a bit different!
For mothers day I went with a similar theme for both our mums; with floral cards with button detailing and coordinating papers.
With one I used ribbon, and the other washi tape. I still can’t decide which I like best, though the papers were both so lovely!
