Just for fun, I thought I’d work on stitching a little seasonal something! So I picked up this cute Mouseloft mini Halloween cross-stitch kit. I really love these little kits as they’re quick to stitch, and are a little crafty break, not taking up too much time.
I stitched this little kit while watching some TV one evening.
Do you have any creative favourites this spooky season?

Autumn is totally knitting season, if you ask me! There’s something nice about sitting in front of the tv, with a bit of knitting; and I love a quick little project; just to break up anything bigger I’m working on. So this year I knitted up a quick knit mug cosy, in autumnal orange.
The great thing about these sorts of projects is how fast they are, and you can make a few; whether you want something seasonal, something personalised, or just a bunch of different mug cosies to choose from!

And we’re at the end of the first full week of Blogtober 2021, and it wouldn’t be a major blogging season without a Tag! As we all know I love a good tag to break up the regular content; (do tag me in any, seriously)!
So here’s a bit of themed fun with ten questions all about Halloween and the autumn season.

In case anyone missed it, I love a wreath… So it seemed only right that I got to making something I could dig out around October every year to add a little seasonal touch. With that in mind I headed to Hobbycraft, and picked up some supplies to make my own simple autumn wreath.
I wanted something more autumnal than Halloween based, but that worked for both aspects. It’s a nice little addition before heading into my favourite season of all!

Bullet journaling is something in the last several months, I have grown to love; use and find good in; in so many ways. It helps me get organised; record and track things; and there’s something nice about spending a little time whether weekly or daily looking through, and filling in certain parts. In this post I’ll be sharing my September 2021 setup.

I got my journal for around £10 on Amazon, from Stationery Island; This was actually a kit which came with a ruler, some stickers (yay) and a pen. I have even picked up another one (journal only this time), for next year!

Who’s been carving pumpkins? We have actually decided not to do a pumpkin carving this year, mostly because I usually do it so people know they can trick or treat at our house, as locally, people only visit decorated houses.
There is still some fun though we have got some decorations for the window for anyone pumpkin spotting in the area!
I thought I’d share some of my past creations, and a fun hanging pumpkin sign I made for the window!

I was tagged back at the beginning of spooky season by the lovely Jordanne, from The Life of a Glasgow Girl, creator of The Hallotober Tag!
To make things a little different, as I did a tag at the beginning of my Blogtober posts, Stu is joining me, so this time, you get double the answers!

They’ve been seen everywhere, but are they really easy to make? In this post I’ll share, step by step how I made my cute fabric pumpkin which you may have seen over on my Instagram feed.
This is actually a super easy craft project that looks really cute! It can be a great way to use up some stash, and have a little seasonal fun!

Is there anything more autumnal than visiting a pumpkin patch? While it’s a little early to be picking up a pumpkin; this weekend we headed to a local pick-your-own for some autumn fruit picking!
It’s been a while since either of us have been fruit picking, but we thought, why not! A nice excuse for some fresh air, and exercise, and a bit of fun!

Autumn is my favourite season, and it seemed only right, to share my autumn bucket list here on the blog, to show what I have planned for the next month or so!
I don’t have much planned generally for October, but there are a few things I would like to do! So I created a bucket list at the beginning of the month, knowing ahead of time, it was one of the prompts for Instagram…
