On The Desk – CraftRoomInspiredChallenge – Leaves

Week 1 of the # CraftRoomInspiredChallenge – Leaves.

Well, thanks to this challenge, I now actually have prompts for my crafting. This month, as well as working on some old favourites, which is becoming the norm lately; I will be doing some Autumn crafts!

On the desk...

We’re heading for more of an autumn vibe, though I’m hoping the sunny days hold out for a little longer!

This month, for a bit of fun; I thought I’d spend the next few weeks sharing a sneak peek of my preparations for the # CraftRoomInspiredChallenge; using different materials each week, including leaves, twigs, old cosy socks and orange fabric, yarn or thread. The final results will be shared over on Instagram every Sunday.

#CraftRoomInspiredChallenge, Leaves, Old Cosy Socks, Twigs, Orange, #MayInspire, #CraftRoomAndBeyond

You can read more about the challenge here.

Craft challenge alert, if you fancy getting crafty this September – join in with the CraftRoomInspiredChallenge!

What I love about being part of the creative community online is meeting fellow craft lovers! I do of course host the Beyond Craft chat over on Twitter on a Tuesday evening (more info at the bottom of this post), and of course over the years have met many talented and creative makers! This past weekend Gemma of MayInspire messaged me about co-creating a crafty challenge for September, I love a good challenge, and honestly she did pretty much all of the work, but I’m delighted to be able to share it here!

A Day Out To: NT Antony House – A Doorway to Wonderland

Of all our National Trust visits, it seems fitting; that one of our final properties to visit in 2018; was one that had been on my list for a very long time; the beautiful, Antony House.

A day out to...

Antony House in Torpoint is an 18th Century mansion; now owned by the National Trust; it is still home to the family that have owned the estate since the 16th Century.

A Day Out To: NT Trerice

A whole new month has begun, and of course we’ve been busy visiting! In this post I’m sharing our visit to the lovely Trerice!

A day out to...

At the end of September, we had to get in a few visits so I will still have monthly content for you; as many places close for renovations and refurbishment over the winter months.

Also our National Trust membership runs out in January so we wanted to see as much as possible. It’s been AMAZING to explore so many places!

Colour My Everyday – Autumn Photo Challenge

This past week on instagram I have taken part in a small Colour My Everyday photo challenge with an autumn theme.

Challenge

The challenge set by @adventuresandteaparties involves posting an image every day throughout the challenge, fitting with the prompt for the day. It’s super easy and a fun way to get posting inspiration. I liked it so much I thought I would share the fun here on the blog too.
