It seems like far too recently I was posting Christmas content! This year, has without a doubt been one of the strangest! But here we are bringing some shine and festivity to the end of the year; with 12 Days of Christmas 2020!
I’d go out on a limb and say this might be the last one of these for a while, but you never know what’s going to happen in a year! After all, this blog is almost one year old now, and somehow I’m now self-hosted, and things are very different , but also somehow the same. And if you know me at all; you know I LOVE Christmas!
Most of these “Day 1 of blogmas” posts start with a plan…
This will of course be a short post today, but I wanted to wish all of my readers a very merry Christmas, and thank you for all the support! I hope whatever you are doing; whoever you spend the day with; you have a wonderful day.
My second massive thank you today, goes out to every one of the brands, bloggers and businesses that have worked with me; supported me; and given me the amazing opportunities I’ve had this year. I hope you too, have a very merry Christmas and the happiest of new years. Thank you again, and of course please get in touch if you’d like to work with me in some capacity in 2019!
I really do hope you have enjoyed the Blogmas content this month. It has been a pleasure to put everything together, and the comments, and social media response has been incredible!
If you are working on anything you think I’d be interested in next year, let me know! Be that seasonal content, or anything in between; I’d love ideas for any other challenges; and hope you will join me for more non-festive content as we move into the new year!
I love a chance to do some Christmas crafting! This year I get to make a gift for myself; thanks to Hobbycraft, gifting me everything I need to make my own Knitcraft Hug it Out scarf!
This post contains a gifted product, the content of this post is entirely my opinion, based on my personal experience.
There is something so special about giving a handmade gift; though of course it can be very time consuming an endeavour! Having an array of quick to make gifts to hand; can be great for last-minute ideas or emergencies. One easy, quick to make project is a knitted or crochet scarf.
As in my previous card making posts as part of Blogmas, I will make and share four different cards to fit the theme. Today I’m sharing some handmade Christmas sparkle cards in black, white and gold.
All of my handmade cards are produced using a variety of methods; just to show how versatile it can be, making your own. If you want to know how I make a specific card in more detail; get in touch, and I can explain further on the Facebook page.
I love making my own shortbread, and it’s such an easy make, so it’s no surprise that Festive Shortbread makes an appearance each Christmas!
At this time of year I tend to make either traditional shortbread, or some fun stars with various toppings. Makes approximately 20 stars depending on size… a couple of rounds you can score to snap into triangles if you’re feeling traditional, or of course the classic shortbread fingers.
