The craft room, my upcycled creative space, my den of crafty goodness, and of course the (very) occasional spare room! Since we’re in lockdown again; I managed to actually have a bit of a tidy and a clear out last month. Considering I did the original A-Z tour two years ago; I thought it was high time to share it again! So here we go an A-Z of the craft room, revisited!

As I said in the last one of these, this is just a bit of fun, a bit of a tour and who knows; it might give you a little more insight into me, if you’re new to the blog, or just feeling nosy!

On The Desk – CraftRoomInspiredChallenge – Leaves

Week 1 of the # CraftRoomInspiredChallenge – Leaves.

Well, thanks to this challenge, I now actually have prompts for my crafting. This month, as well as working on some old favourites, which is becoming the norm lately; I will be doing some Autumn crafts!

We’re heading for more of an autumn vibe, though I’m hoping the sunny days hold out for a little longer!

This month, for a bit of fun; I thought I’d spend the next few weeks sharing a sneak peek of my preparations for the # CraftRoomInspiredChallenge; using different materials each week, including leaves, twigs, old cosy socks and orange fabric, yarn or thread. The final results will be shared over on Instagram every Sunday.

12 Days Of Christmas 2019 – Make Your Own Christmas Card Hanger

We have Santa and snowman themed pegs for our cards; as we don’t have much space for putting cards up. Before that we have used the age old classic string across the wall! If you want to get creative and make your own Christmas card hanger; I thought I’d share how super simple it is!

We are lucky enough to get quite a few cards at Christmas time. I usually participate in at least one card swap; as well as sending to a few online friends. Sometimes I then offer to send a handmade card or two online if I have any left; as I make them all in one go, and sometimes end up with extras! So keep an eye on Twitter!

For Valentines day yesterday, Stu and I didn’t really have much planned. Neither of us really buy into the day; though we use it as an excuse to give each other a little present. And some chocolate (because any time is a good time for chocolate!). This year I decided I was going to make Stu something I’d promised a while ago; a shadow box frame gift!
