Rainy Day Jigsaw Puzzle [Ad: Gifted]

So, the beginning of this week, started with rain! If there’s anything I love about a rainy day, it’s that you can properly relax, and I chose to work on a jigsaw puzzle. I was recently contacted by Wentworth Puzzles, and they gifted me a gorgeous 1000 piece puzzle; to share here on the blog. With this in mind, I thought it would make a nice change, to share something I get up to that isn’t craft related!

This Week

I love jigsaw puzzles, though I don’t always have time to do them; so on this rainy Monday, it was a really nice chance to sit down and take the day to myself! I popped on a podcast playlist, and got puzzling!

Valentines Gifts You Can Send in the Post

I was having a think this week about Happy Mail; and given the time of year, and the current situation here in the UK; it made me think of what Valentines gifts (or “galentines” etc etc) you could send in the post.

Feel the Love

So I thought I’d do a little post sharing some ideas, great if you wanted to step away from the simple flowers and chocolates, or even if you were just looking for ideas to send something nice to a special friend!

And as a bonus I’m also sharing a super cute and easy craft idea anyone can do, for almost any occasion!

Shop Indie This Christmas

I wanted to do something a little different this month, and share some fab indie biz. It’s fairly officially Christmas shopping season, and it’s a great opportunity to support small business; shop indie; and spread a little love to those that may be struggling; as there are no craft fairs or the like this year!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

So here are a range of some of the handmade products from some of my friends online! If you have a small business, get in touch and I’ll happily add you to the list! Please don’t link spam; if you have a gift guide similar to this one, do tell everyone about it in the comments below!

October Round Up – What I Got Up To

Hello November! A new month, new plans and new goals, and now a new lockdown. First though I thought I’d do a bit of an October round up! This has been a bit of a whirlwind of a month hasn’t it?!

This Month

There was quite a lot going on in October, and as I was sharing a lot of Blogtober content, some things didn’t quite fit anywhere; so, I thought I’d share a few things in this post.

Shadow Box Frame Gift *

For Valentines day yesterday, Stu and I didn’t really have much planned. Neither of us really buy into the day; though we use it as an excuse to give each other a little present. And some chocolate (because any time is a good time for chocolate!). This year I decided I was going to make Stu something I’d promised a while ago; a shadow box frame gift!

Feel the Love

I was very kindly gifted a product within this post from Hobbycraft, the gifted item has been clearly marked with an *

The Crafty Lass ADVENTure

Throughout December on Instagram, I shared the wonderful craft supplies advent calendar which I was gifted by The Crafty Lass; also known as The Crafty Lass ADVENTure craft advent calendar.

The Crafty Lass ADVENTure

I thought I would share each photo of The Crafty Lass ADVENTure together here, from each of the 24 days. The advent calendar itself was 24 individual small boxes, each numbered and containing a crafty surprise for every day! It came beautifully packaged, and even came with a lovely note from Paula!
