I thought I’d take this opportunity to share my Handmade candy cane themed christmas cards. I’m fairly sure everyone I’ve sent a Christmas card to, has received them by now!
I make my cards every year, and this year, is of course no exception! I’ll also share my festive bujo spread for this week!

It’s no secret that I love a bit of handmade decorating, no matter what the season! I tried my hand at a couple of kits and some easy craft ideas for Christmas decor, and thought I’d share them in the one post!
I’ll also share this week’s fun Christmas bullet journal spread.

It’s Day 2! In this post I’m sharing how I got creative with a wooden Gingerbread House! It was a great excuse to do something a little bit different, and try something new.
As much as I love the idea of making a real gingerbread house, it’s not something I could leave out at Christmas, because of the cats, and because generally I think it’s kind-of gross. And also, because we REALLY don’t need more treats and stuff at this time of year! So a wooden one seems practical!

Hello December! We’re back with 12 Days of Christmas 2021! Another collection of handmade Christmas fun in the lead up to the big day!
This is always a crazy time of year for me; so blogging the 12 days is always a challenge, but one I enjoy! I will do my best to reply to all comments as always; in the meantime enjoy the posts!

As part of a recent online challenge, I try to create an upcycled luminary. Of course I added to the challenge, to make it fit with my Halloween crafting, with a pumpkin theme.
I have seen handmade luminaries created from cans, bottles and jars, but could I make one using a tube?

I wanted to have a go at something cute this year, and so I thought I’d share! I made a trio of Halloween pom-pom pumpkins!
Pom-Pom creations are super simple but really fun to make! They can also be a great way to use up scrap yarn!

It’s been a while since I’ve shared a quick craft project, here on the blog; so I thought I’d share something I made recently for the rocking chair in the craft room. I shared the fabric over on Instagram ages ago, but in this post I’ll share what I made – a super easy envelope cushion cover.
As I’m sure you’ll already know by now, my craft room is a mix of teal and grey (wonder where I got my blog design idea…) and it’s also dotted with Disney, and especially Alice in Wonderland bits and pieces! I have a rocking chair in there, and for the longest time, I’ve said I want to do something with it to make it more in-keeping with the room.
Well, not too long ago (a couple of months?) Stu’s mum tagged me in a pic on Facebook, of a local fabric shop’s latest fabric additions, which were all Alice in Wonderland themed!

June is of course Pride month, and for Pride 2021, I wanted to do a couple of things! First of all I wanted to do a craft project, I also wanted to buy from an LGBTQ+ small, indie business; and in doing so, support someone’s dreams, and get something pretty for me; but something that was also representative of Pride. I also wanted to take part in the Craftic Pride Rainbow Challenge!
Wow, that’s a busy little list, when you add it to the projects I’m working on already, and the 30 Days Wild, and of course not forgetting the day job…

What lovely amazing weather we’ve been having! All the better for getting out in the garden, and of course; if I’m spending more time out there, it made me realise how much I needed to renew the garden bunting!
This has become even more noticeable, as I’ve been out planting; doing more of the 30 days wild list; and of course, enjoying family time in the sunshine!

I first started this bright knitted jumper project ages ago; and keep putting it down to work on other things! Lately though I have picked it back up again, to work on it a little more; and thought I’d share a little update!
When I started knitting this jumper I was going to make it purely with rectangles as a super quick and easy slouch jumper, though my limited skill has improved to the extent I am working on slightly better sleeves.
