Very Berry Knitting (Part 1)

I’m feeling oddly motivated at the moment; and I thought I’d use that motivation for a little more craft time! I’ve always got something on the go, and I thought I’d try and get back on the needles; with some very berry knitting!

On the desk...

So here goes with another crafty project at the beginning of the year! Though I’m thinking small and easy to accomplish this time, because I always have a habit of starting things but not finishing them!

Shop Indie This Christmas

I wanted to do something a little different this month, and share some fab indie biz. It’s fairly officially Christmas shopping season, and it’s a great opportunity to support small business; shop indie; and spread a little love to those that may be struggling; as there are no craft fairs or the like this year!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

So here are a range of some of the handmade products from some of my friends online! If you have a small business, get in touch and I’ll happily add you to the list! Please don’t link spam; if you have a gift guide similar to this one, do tell everyone about it in the comments below!

On The Desk – CraftRoomInspiredChallenge – Leaves

Week 1 of the # CraftRoomInspiredChallenge – Leaves.

Well, thanks to this challenge, I now actually have prompts for my crafting. This month, as well as working on some old favourites, which is becoming the norm lately; I will be doing some Autumn crafts!

On the desk...

We’re heading for more of an autumn vibe, though I’m hoping the sunny days hold out for a little longer!

This month, for a bit of fun; I thought I’d spend the next few weeks sharing a sneak peek of my preparations for the # CraftRoomInspiredChallenge; using different materials each week, including leaves, twigs, old cosy socks and orange fabric, yarn or thread. The final results will be shared over on Instagram every Sunday.

On The Desk – Handmade Disney Cards

I thought I’d share something a bit different today, and that’s some handmade Disney cards!

I make cards as and when they’re needed; but rarely do what I did this week, which is make a few at once!

On The Desk, Header Image

I’ve been working through my stash for ages; only buying what I really need, and this is something that I’ve had in a drawer for AGES! This was originally picked up because I (of course) love all things Disney, but it has since just sat there since, pretty much not getting used!

I found the kit in a drawer; while coming up with a card idea I will need soon, but thought, why not make up the rest too!
