In case anyone missed it, I love a wreath… So it seemed only right that I got to making something I could dig out around October every year to add a little seasonal touch. With that in mind I headed to Hobbycraft, and picked up some supplies to make my own simple autumn wreath.
I wanted something more autumnal than Halloween based, but that worked for both aspects. It’s a nice little addition before heading into my favourite season of all!

I got to thinking this year about crafting for Halloween, for those who won’t be entertaining kids! There’s a little bit out there for the grown-ups, but some is excessively samey; and some is a little OTT for your average gathering. In this post I thought I’d share some quick crafty Halloween makes for adults; which can all be made of an evening, and will add a little whimsy to your ghoulish gathering; whether it’s a dinner party, or a movie night!
I will be sharing more Halloween craft ideas throughout the month; and of course there is regular seasonal and NON seasonal content throughout the year. So if you’re not already; do give the blog a follow, or subscribe by email; so you don’t miss out!

What lovely amazing weather we’ve been having! All the better for getting out in the garden, and of course; if I’m spending more time out there, it made me realise how much I needed to renew the garden bunting!
This has become even more noticeable, as I’ve been out planting; doing more of the 30 days wild list; and of course, enjoying family time in the sunshine!

It’s about time for some Christmas crafting isn’t it! I thought I’d start this year with some easy yarn crafts you can do at home; to add to your decorating!

I wanted to do something a little different this month, and share some fab indie biz. It’s fairly officially Christmas shopping season, and it’s a great opportunity to support small business; shop indie; and spread a little love to those that may be struggling; as there are no craft fairs or the like this year!
So here are a range of some of the handmade products from some of my friends online! If you have a small business, get in touch and I’ll happily add you to the list! Please don’t link spam; if you have a gift guide similar to this one, do tell everyone about it in the comments below!

Hello November! A new month, new plans and new goals, and now a new lockdown. First though I thought I’d do a bit of an October round up! This has been a bit of a whirlwind of a month hasn’t it?!
There was quite a lot going on in October, and as I was sharing a lot of Blogtober content, some things didn’t quite fit anywhere; so, I thought I’d share a few things in this post.

You may have seen these around, but are they really easy to make? In this post I’ll share, step by step how I made my fun sock skeleton; which you may have seen over on my Instagram feed from the CraftRoomInspired Challenge last month!
This is actually a super easy craft project that looks really cute and fun! It can be a great way to use up some stash, and have a little seasonal fun; suitable for kids and adults, though smaller crafters may need a hand with the sewing!

Who’s been carving pumpkins? We have actually decided not to do a pumpkin carving this year, mostly because I usually do it so people know they can trick or treat at our house, as locally, people only visit decorated houses.
There is still some fun though we have got some decorations for the window for anyone pumpkin spotting in the area!
I thought I’d share some of my past creations, and a fun hanging pumpkin sign I made for the window!
