It was our anniversary last week; and Stu and I decided a couple of months ago to book a break away. We found some cheap flights to Venice; and as it’s on our (rather long) list of places we’d like to go, we went for it.
Finding a nice but reasonably low budget hotel, as we never really spend any time there, other than sleeping. Aside from this, arranging transport and parking we didn’t spend much at all.

This year, instead of heading out of the UK, we visited Somerset. There were a few places we had talked about wanting to visit, and having limited time off work; it seemed the perfect choice to have a break away, on a bit of a budget. On our way up to Somerset, we decided to stop at Haynes Motor Museum.
We booked a B&B in the village on Montacute; and headed up on the Friday, to return on Sunday. Filling three days with about as much activity as we could!

It is finally time to share my Disneyland Paris Anniversary scrapbook!The Disneyland Paris 25th Anniversary celebrations; was our second Disney holiday back in 2017. Of course I always planned to create a scrapbook of the trip, but it took me over a year to actually get it done!
Now the book is finally finished; and of course I’m really pleased with it! So, of course; I took some photos of my layouts and thought I’d share it here on the blog!

So, I’ve been back just over a week; but I thought I’d share a little of my holiday in La Pineda, Costa Dorada, near Salou in Spain!
It’s been a long time since I’ve done a travel post; but much like I did with my Disneyland Paris post; I will include some tips as well as what we got up to; including a night out in Salou and of course Portaventura World.
I was recently invited to go on holiday with Kara for a week; and of course immediately said yes! So this month we flew out to La Pineda, Costa Dorada, in Catalonia, Spain, with TUI on an all-inclusive package.
Kara is one of my best friends! We’ve known each other for so long, and this was our second holiday together! You can always guarantee that we’ll have a good time, and we live quite far apart now; so it’s obviously always good to have a drink and a catch up!
