Of all our National Trust visits, it seems fitting; that one of our final properties to visit in 2018; was one that had been on my list for a very long time; the beautiful, Antony House.
Antony House in Torpoint is an 18th Century mansion; now owned by the National Trust; it is still home to the family that have owned the estate since the 16th Century.

A whole new month has begun, and of course we’ve been busy visiting! In this post I’m sharing our visit to the lovely Trerice!
At the end of September, we had to get in a few visits so I will still have monthly content for you; as many places close for renovations and refurbishment over the winter months.
Also our National Trust membership runs out in January so we wanted to see as much as possible. It’s been AMAZING to explore so many places!

Having a relaxing Sunday recently; we decided to go and have a wander around Trelissick Garden again.
The joy of this particular National Trust garden being quite close by; is that we can just get in the car and be there a few minutes later! It’s definitely something that before we had membership this year, we were completely unaware of!

The summer continues! We recently used our National Trust membership and visited the lovely Cotehele in Saltash, heading a little further afield to the Tamar Valley!
Cotehele is a (mostly) Tudor manor house, formerly owned by the Edgecumbe family, also owners of Mount Edgcumbe House in Torpoint.

Another sunny day, another opportunity to make the most of our National Trust membership! This month we visited the lovely St Michael’s Mount.
Located off of Marazion in Cornwall; St Michael’s Mount is on it’s own island; linked to the mainland by a causeway at low tide, or accessed by boat at high tide.

Since returning from Spain, I haven’t had time for the holiday blues, as it’s safe to say the weather here at home has been wonderful! We made the most of it this weekend; using our National Trust membership and visiting Glendurgan Garden for a sunny walk, now that flowers everywhere are blooming and things are far less wintery!
So this month ended up glorious in places! There has been some lovely sunshine, I hope you’ve had some too! Last weekend it was beautifully sunny, so; we’ve once again made the most of our National Trust membership, and headed off to Godolphin.
We’ve made a list of National Trust places in Cornwall; so hopefully we’ll be able visit most of them and I’ll have blog content for the rest of the year!
This week, while we had some sun, we visited the historic gardens of Godolphin. (Near Helston.)

Of course with March came the “Beast From the East” bringing snow even as far as Cornwall; and we were afraid we wouldn’t get a weekend to actually go out anywhere! But things managed to calm down mid-month; and we decided to brave the rain and armed with our new National Trust membership cards; we went to visit Lanhydrock house.
It’s no secret that this is one of my favourite places to visit.

Cornwall has many National Trust gardens and properties, and we can’t wait to explore! First up – Trelissick!
Unfortunately many are closed until March, but Trelissick is open this month, and conveniently is the nearest National Trust property to us!
This week, we were lucky with a lovely sunny day; and we decided to make the most of it, with the first -of many I’m sure- National Trust walk!
