Yes, you read it here a week ago, the knitting was complete, so what’s happening now?!! What’s with the Very Berry Knitting – Extra?!
When I had finished knitting before, I still had some yarn left over, and of course that called for making something else…

Yes, you read it here first, very berry knitting complete! I’ve actually managed to finish something I started! I know, I’m impressed too!
Though I will say; I have since made something else; which I’ll be sharing next week; to use up the remaining yarn (It STILL didn’t!) but I’m at least quite proud that I’ve used a fair bit of it!

On the desk is back! I’m planning on being a little more realistic this year though! With motivation in mind, I thought I’d start the year with a new cross-stitch project; this is one kit I’ve had lined up for a while, Love Tree from Bothy Threads.
I didn’t really get into any stitching last year, and so I do need to finish The Scarf, but I thought starting fresh with a new project would motivate me. So let me introduce you to my current project…

Every Tuesday evening I host Beyond Craft, aka #BCChat; over on Twitter. Last month we had a fun Secret Santa swap, and this week I am launching our first Challenge of 2021 – Happy Crafty New Year!
I thought I’d take a few minutes to share my fab Secret Santa gift, and to tell you about the new challenge I’ll be launching tomorrow. So if you’ve spotted this, you have an early start!

Well, it’s getting back to normal time for me; this week our store reopens (today in fact); so I’m back to work, and I’ll be heading back to a sort-of normal routine!
I’m off today; so we’re enjoying the very last of the good weather having booked a time-slot at my favourite National Trust property; Lanhydrock. Though of course the house remains closed, we plan on having a nice walk around the gardens and woodland there for a bit!

the content of this post is entirely my opinion,
based on my personal experience.
There was something I had in mind for the garden, which I never thought I’d actually do, until I was chatting recently with the lovely people at Pinty Plus about a collaboration!

Want to work with iron-on vinyl, making your own t-shirts, home accessories and more? You should try the Cricut EasyPress 2.
This is a sponsored conversation; written by me on behalf of Cricut. The following opinions and text are all my own.
I will be completely honest, I have never given much thought to iron-on projects. This isn’t to say I’ve never had the idea; I was under the impression; that Iron-on projects are too complex. As well as something at risk of being a bit of a fad, that I’d pay out for; before becoming bored with it; not using it or getting distracted with something else.
This being the case, I haven’t really been aware of products to do this at home, though of course I know you can do certain projects at home with an iron. I don’t know the first thing about materials or methods…

Hey! So it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these random chatty posts; but as of last night things are occurring! So I have some fun announcement type stuff, and some more happening here on the blog this month…
This is definitely a fun post and I’ve tried to give it a little clarity; because I’m sure you don’t want me rambling on nonsensically as I try to explain what’s happening this month!

I don’t have any craft projects planned so far this year! I’m sure I’ll think of something soon; but right now I’m enjoying relaxing and movie watching! So, in the meantime; here is a Throwback Thursday post to share one of the first big cross-stitch projects I completed, this fun alphabet sampler!
I have a great love of cross-stitching a variety of different images, from classic florals, to simple cartoony images in few colours. Mini kits and large samplers. This is a large piece, from before I’d worked on many large projects, which is one of the reasons it is a favourite. It’s not perfect or hugely pretty, but it was a big step for me at the time!
