Bright Knitted Jumper Project

I first started this bright knitted jumper project ages ago; and keep putting it down to work on other things! Lately though I have picked it back up again, to work on it a little more; and thought I’d share a little update!

On the desk...

When I started knitting this jumper I was going to make it purely with rectangles as a super quick and easy slouch jumper, though my limited skill has improved to the extent I am working on slightly better sleeves.

Little Updates – A-Z Challenge 2021

An interesting one for L; which in fairness, was sort-of my plan for all the titles in this years A-Z Challenge series. I talk about how I started blogging, and eventually changed up how I post, from constant small projects, to the inclusion of bigger ideas with little updates. Whether they are long term craft projects; life in general, or other nonsensical ramblings!

A-Z Challenge 2021

This year my A-Z Challenge theme is: The Craft Room and Beyond – A Retrospective. A look back at previous content and basically a chance to share and revisit some things from the archive. As well as exploring things that haven’t made it to the blog yet! As I have said before; if you see something that piques your interest that I don’t link to; certainly seek out the search bar, or get in touch!

Painted Garden Furniture * Project Garden

Painted garden furniture was something I had in mind for the garden; which I never thought I’d actually do! Something that always seemed a little too adventurous, and probably too difficult to do. But in the spirit of doing up the garden, and making it a much more fun space to hang out in; here we are!

This post contains a gifted product or products*, the content of this post is entirely my opinion.

In the garden

As I say, painting the plastic furniture, seemed a little too much of a pipe dream; until I was chatting recently with the lovely people at Pinty Plus about a collaboration!

Finished Projects – Nerdy Knitting

I’ve been meaning to share this for a while now, I finished a fun nerdy knitting project around November time; and it didn’t really fit in with the Christmas content! This was a fun project, trying something new, and creating something just for myself!

Craft Room and Beyond, Crafts Header

I’d no secret I’m a tad on the nerdy side, and I’m a total Star Wars fan, though I’ll confess to preferring the original trilogy overall. I’m not a huge fan of every film, but I’m not here to start an argument over which is the best or the worst, I’m here to talk about adorable and a bit silly; crafty; nerdy knitting…

Getting to Know the Cricut EasyPress 2 *

Want to work with iron-on vinyl, making your own t-shirts, home accessories and more? You should try the Cricut EasyPress 2.

This is a sponsored conversation; written by me on behalf of Cricut. The following opinions and text are all my own.

Getting to know the Cricut EasyPress 2

I will be completely honest, I have never given much thought to iron-on projects. This isn’t to say I’ve never had the idea; I was under the impression; that Iron-on projects are too complex. As well as something at risk of being a bit of a fad, that I’d pay out for; before becoming bored with it; not using it or getting distracted with something else.

This being the case, I haven’t really been aware of products to do this at home, though of course I know you can do certain projects at home with an iron. I don’t know the first thing about materials or methods…

Alphabet Sampler -TBT Projects

I don’t have any craft projects planned so far this year! I’m sure I’ll think of something soon; but right now I’m enjoying relaxing and movie watching! So, in the meantime; here is a Throwback Thursday post to share one of the first big cross-stitch projects I completed, this fun alphabet sampler!

Throwback Thursday

I have a great love of cross-stitching a variety of different images, from classic florals, to simple cartoony images in few colours. Mini kits and large samplers. This is a large piece, from before I’d worked on many large projects, which is one of the reasons it is a favourite. It’s not perfect or hugely pretty, but it was a big step for me at the time!
