Rainy Day Jigsaw Puzzle [Ad: Gifted]

So, the beginning of this week, started with rain! If there’s anything I love about a rainy day, it’s that you can properly relax, and I chose to work on a jigsaw puzzle. I was recently contacted by Wentworth Puzzles, and they gifted me a gorgeous 1000 piece puzzle; to share here on the blog. With this in mind, I thought it would make a nice change, to share something I get up to that isn’t craft related!

This Week

I love jigsaw puzzles, though I don’t always have time to do them; so on this rainy Monday, it was a really nice chance to sit down and take the day to myself! I popped on a podcast playlist, and got puzzling!

Bujo – May 2021 Setup [AF]

As a reminder, I’ve never attempted bullet journaling before. But having tried scrapbooking (a lot); something between scrapping and art journaling; and even just having a planner last year(!) I thought it was time I gave it a go! In this post I’m sharing my May 2021 setup…

I got my journal for around £10 on Amazon, from Stationery Island; I actually got a kit which came with a ruler, some stickers (yay) and a pen.

Crafty January Baking & Handmade Cards.

So we’ve made it through the first month of 2021; with just one weekend to go. it’s been a great month of creating and I though I’d do a bit of a round up of a very crafty January!

This Week

I’m feeling fairly positive about how the month has gone, and have achieved several of my goals (not all of them, but it’s looking good for productivity), so I’m calling it a win! With that in mind; I’m more than ready to head into a positive and productive February!

Our Rainy Week and Cross Stitching (Part 3)

SO still in lockdown, and still working on Love Tree, so I thought I’d share a bit about our rainy week, and of course a cross-stitch update too!

This Week

What does a rainy week mean for us? Well, lots of movie watching, a bit of reading, finally actually finishing tidying the craft room, and of course cross-stitching!!

Cross Stitch Update (Part 2) and a Wintery Walk

We’re now a week into lockdown; with lots of fun to be had, movie watching, cleaning the craft room, and getting out when we can! I thought this week, I’d share a recent walk, and a little creative cross stitch update too!

This Week

Before I get to the cross stitch update; I wanted to share a recent wander we had; at the beginning of lockdown; along a pretty woodland walk, right here in the heart of the city.

Summer Nights – Paulo’s Drive in Circus *

This is a sponsored post, I was gifted tickets to Paulo’s Drive in Circus, in return for an honest review.

When I heard Paulo’s Circus was headed back to Cornwall, I was immediately excited!

With all that’s happening recently, this is just the thing to liven up the summer! When I was invited along; to review the show on opening night, I definitely wasn’t going to say no!

So we hopped in the car, and headed to the Drive In!

On The Desk – Handmade Face Masks

Of course face masks are around everywhere at the moment. I’ve had my trusty black and pink Disney mask for a while; (which I made during lockdown). But now the UK is making them mandatory in shops from July 24th; the time has come for me to have more than one available.

On the desk...

I haven’t really been out aside from work; or in outside spaces; so I didn’t need more than one mask. They wash up and dry so quickly once I get home from work!

However if I end up working on two consecutive days; and it isn’t quite dry, I’d potentially be left with a problem; and as this is the first week of that potentially happening, I thought I’d make a couple more.

This Week #18 – NT is Open, Finishing Books and a Socially Distanced Picnic

We are still largely staying at home; as much as restrictions are lessening each week, so of course, as usual I haven’t been doing much but we did manage to get out, in a socially distanced capacity; a couple of times this week which has been nice!

This Week

And what a week this has been, I’m so shocked at how much the weather has changed in just a few days!
